Dr. Stathopoulos received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Rochester with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. He then completed his Medical Degree at SUNY Buffalo again with Magna Cum Laude honors. His Ophthalmology residency training was completed at Penn State University’s Hershey Medical Center.
After ten years in private practice, he moved back to the Buffalo area with his family and joined Dr. Russell Knapp at Eyesight Med Center. There the two doctors provide Comprehensive Eye care with an emphasis on cataracts and glaucoma. Dr. Stathopoulos is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
