Bio and Description

Dr. Niswander completed undergraduate study at the University of California before earning his medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvannia. After an internship in internal medicine at SUNY Buffalo, he completed residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Niswander is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also board certified in cataract/implant lens surgery by the American Board of Eye Surgery, and a fellow of The American College of Surgery. He holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at The State University of New York.
