Dr. Jim Twist is a Notre Dame alumnus. He received his MD and residency training at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Twist is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

His interests are in the field of lens implant and cataract surgery, particularly the new multifocal lens implants.
